No. 3, Buddy Holly

Buddy Holly was a famous rock-n-roll singer. He wrote great songs like Rave On, Peggy Sue, Maybe Baby, Not Fade Away. He came to me in a dream one night. Am I dreaming? yes he said I listen to your records all the time I know he said thanks. You died in a plane crash everyone was sad. Yeah, he said, it doesn’t hurt anymore. I get to play my guitar all the time and write new songs. Will you sing one for me I asked yes he said he sang the song it was bittersweet it was his best yet, I thought. That rocked I said I know he said and smiled. He still had those glasses with the heavy black frames they weren’t broken or anything. Do you miss your wife? I asked. The alarm clock rang then, it was an ugly sound. He never got to answer my question. Later I read that his wife was dead but then I found out she was still alive. I felt bad that he was all alone. I can’t remember the words to that song anymore. When I fall asleep I want to dream that dream again.
